Tumbler screen, diameter 2600mm

Yes, tumbler screen will have high accuracy than gyratory screen, long stay time on screen mesh for each deck, very good sealing than gyratory screen, but it’s easy to blinding of mesh.

One customer in Taiwan, use diameter 2000mm tumbler screen for silica sand, foundry sand etc…, 3 decks, mesh combination similar with yours, capacity 4.5-5 tph, and they will take out the mesh in the morning(before begining to start working per day), brush the wire mesh, to maintain and make sure the screening accuracy and quality is good in one day.

If we choose 2600mm tumbler screen, the capacity is approx 7-8 tph(Allgaier showing 40tph, it’s the biggest capacity they can, but depend on the mesh combination, very coarse mesh, and some special material. We have more than 20TPH capacity with 2600mm tumbler for salt screening, finest mesh is 2mm)

Disadvantages: model is big(2600mm), the center mesh will be soft than small model(just as 2000mm, 1600mm, 1200mm etc…), short life time, because all material will flow down into mesh center af first, and spread to edge.

How to change mesh: when change the mesh, we need to lift all above deck assembly.

Shipment: because the whole machine size is big, approx 2650mm, even if the upper screen deck can be dismantled and transported, the bottom assembly base is is more than 2600mm, it’s impossible to shipped by standard GP container, we need FR container or Bulk carrier for shipment.

Gyratory screen

Biggest model FYBS-2036, mesh size 2000 x 3600mm, the capacity will arrive to 10 tph, designed with top 4 decks + bottom 4 decks, one machine = 2 unit single 4 decks screen, so when the require is 40tph, we need to have 4 sets of gyratory screens, model FYBS-2036 – 8 decks.

Top 4 decks, 8#, 16#, 30#, 40#, bottom 8#, 16#, 30#, 40#, two inlets in one machine, 2 single units 4 decks, but discharge ports will be collected as twins.

Screening accuracy, approx 85-90% from most of the customers, who screening silica sand, quartz sand etc…

Most of silica sand or silimar material customers, use gyratory screens all over the world, capacity is little big than tumbler screen, and can be set more pcs in one production line.

Shipment: FR container of Bulk carrier for model FYBS-2036.

When require for gyratory screen to suitable for GP container, we can choose model FYBS-1536, but capacity is smaller than FYBS-2036.

Our suggestion:

Choose gyratory screen for mass production, then finally use tumbler screen to sieve with single deck again, to remove possible large particles.

Example: for 30# – 16# finished material after gyratory screen, screening the material again into tumbler screen(single deck 16#), make sure there is no large particles in final material.
